last one for now  ;D anyone up on OKRA?

this amethyst glass vase with iridescent feathering is signed & dated OKRA 88 but also has FDV no4 to the base

I am assuming  the latter is a pattern number?

can anyone shed any light on that please or a gentle nudge in the right direction is always appreciated

cheers
Mel

If you are on facebook, search for STATION GLASS.  That is where Richard Golding currently works.  You can post a picture of your piece, give him some details, and he can tell you what the initials stand for, who made it, etc.

Easy, Cheesy!

for future reference:

had a lovely email back about this vase.

it is a Richard Golding piece, FERN pattern bud vase, No. 4 relates to the size, which is 7.5 inches tall

cheers!
