Murano Venetian?
« on: March 09, 2013, 05:25:15 PM »
Stemware is not usually something I pick up but I saw this in a box of odd mostly chipped crockery at a car boot sale, the silver gilding was black but it was remarkably undamaged and seemed worth the 50p asking price.
By the scene of the Rialto bridge I assume it is just a tourist piece from Murano/Venice of fairly recent manufacture?

Any opinions please?

Thanks
Nick

I tend to associate that stem with Czech glassware, but it was likely decorated in Venice or Murano
