Cute little chick (bird) any ideas for an ID ? Ta !

I thought I would post this cute little chick as the colour is quite distinctive . It's a very rich , dark brown and has quite a bit of age to the base. The frontal view shows how dark the brown is when it's not held to the light.   

Any comments would be great , thanks for having a peek  ;) It stands 3.5 inches tall .

Looks very like an FM Konstglas Ronneby Sweden glass bird to me.  Often seen in clear or blue glass. I could be wrong though.

Here is a lighter brown pair to look at and compare with:
