Does anybody know who built this vase?? Help needed!
« on: June 21, 2013, 10:47:41 PM »
Hello,

my name is Ralf - I´m living in Germany!
I´m new here in this interesting forum and ...of course I´ve got a question.
Some weeks ago I received a really big vase from my aunt and - no matter how hard I try - I cannot find out who built this vase...!
Does anybody have an idea who is the designer or builder of this nice vase.
As I said before, it is very tall (a little more than 117cm tall !!) and it is signed on the ground.
I took some pictures and I hope that somebody is able to help me further.

Best regards and greetings from Germany
Ralf

Hello Ralf, welcome to the board!  :)
Your vase is gorgeous! The image you have taken of the signature is very good, I hope somebody here will be able to recognise it, I'm afraid I can't help, but will be watching to find out.
Would you please be kind enough to attach your images directly to the board?
This means that once we can identify it, there will be a record here of this artist's work and signature, to keep for future reference.
There is a lot of help and information here

http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/board,22.0.html

about how to do it.  :)
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

Hi Ralf,
welcome to the board! Und Gruß aus Wien :)

If you can't work it out, you can give me the permission to downsize the images for you and attach them to this thread...

Michael

Hi Michael,

yesterday I tried to do that , but didn´t find a good solution to get them small enough to attach them here.
If you could do that for me it would be great!

Best regards
...und viele Grüße von Bochum nach Wien  :)

Ralf

Hello,

just to ask again if there is anybody who could help me further....!
Perhaps someone has seen a vase like this before. Could this be a murano vase? But I´m not sure if they built such large vases...!

Greetings
Ralf
