They are certainly a nice and rare pair of vases Gary. I take it they came from America, the FBS and Made in Scotland etched is the give away.

yip they sure did , I have a few other pieces signed monart and stamped made in Scotland and FBS that came from usa and a few that came from Australia with FBS

well after that vase making £3100 I thought I should try my luck with these vases so on ebay now at bargain price of £3600 or best offer :o lol, mmmmm wonder if they will sell? ??? ;) do you get the feeling I don't want to sell them ?, greedy? mad? or just plain curious? probably a bit of all three, just had a message asking if id put the decimal point in the wrong place? lol, course not, £36000. would be way too expensive wouldn't it  ;D and £360. would be way too cheap so least im in the middle lol
