Murano Barbini? Vase
« on: August 11, 2013, 04:14:48 PM »
I have this little blue and green vase, and I picked it up because it reminded me a LOT of one of these (http://thumbs4.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/mnr7Eb3bYpIGFVp17tUFcPQ.jpg) that I used to own.

Poking around the interwebz I see other Barbini vases that are similar in style but I've not found this particular one yet. Can anyone shed any light on if it is or isn't a Barbini piece?

It measures 5 1/2" in height and has a base diameter of 3"

Thanks!

The style of the piece reminds me of this smaller piece I have with a Barbini for Weil label on it. The colours on your piece, although blue and green like mine, seem strong for Barbini of the period. However, I still think Barbini is solid possibility.
