Pierre D' Avesn Lion Vase
« on: October 29, 2013, 08:24:49 PM »
Pierre D' Avesn glass vase with 6 walking lions or Panthers around the base of the vase in whats looks like jungle .

I cannot find another example of this vase . I see that Daum makes a similar vase today based on the original Avesn vase.

The vase is cased with a clear frosted layer over a layer with a grey tinge.

The vase is marked on the base P D AVESN FRANCE.

Height of the vase 9" or 23cm and weighs a over 3kg

Thanks Roy
