Glass C
« on: November 07, 2013, 12:15:54 PM »
This is the largest of the four glasses and the most decorated with gilding. Its bowl is octagonal.  The foot has a polished pontil or has had the same sort of protuberance as Glasses A and B but ground out. The stem has been diamond facets.  The metal is a faint grey and the foot shows signs of quite a bit of wear.
