Id help needed - a Scandinavian bowl?
« on: November 14, 2013, 05:15:07 AM »
Hi all,
Thought I would try to ID another piece  - its a heavy chunky green bowl.  I think its Scandinavian as well - but I have looked at several makers and can't match the pattern. I hope the pic is better this time (last one I posted was atrocious).  If it doesn't work I will have to look at using another program. I can't seem to be able to manipulate the size to 700 pixels on one side - but I will keep trying!
Many Thanks
Kerry

Thanks very much John
I feel better now - I just couldn't place it no matter how hard I researched - I thought I was missing something.
Maybe the trident decoration isn't meant to be Scandi - but more a pagan symbol decoration - maybe even an Australian glass maker,
I will keep an eye out but I don't think I am going to get any further with this one on my own
Best wishes
Kerry

In the linked topic Ivo thought Skruf was likely, I seem to have a vague memory that Ivo was right and we had confirmation somewhere. It might be worth using search on the board to look for similar topics.
