Scavo (?) vase, bird handles
« on: November 17, 2013, 07:36:55 AM »
Dear list,
Thanks for your help on another vase - something that looks like it was made to look "dug up".  Is the term "scavo"?  It has a design that could mimic an ancient Roman, or similar, look.  I am sure I have seen something similar somewhere before but can't remember where.
Could anyone let me know anything about it?
Thanks.
Ian
