Utterly lovely, Gary - it is irridescent, isn't it?

And is the vase just a little bit wonky... or was that you and the camera being wonky at new year?  ;)

I acquired a "serious" bit of Monart recently. It's worrying. I now have 3 bits of Monart.  :-\
This, my lovley pale and purple bubbly bowl and a (real, but boring) miniature.

(It is also damaged - a crack running down from the rim and a big dingy crack in it's circumference, but I only paid £20 for it. I wouldn't have paid the full price and it still displays beautifully.  ;D)
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

I don't believe it was the (overpriced :o ) one in Abernyte - unless it got damaged in Abernyte and so got shifted.  ???
I bought it in Rait.
It's a wonderful and subtle colourway - combed bit with swirls, (not just two colours  :P ), the aventurine is very, very gold coloured, and it's got lovely yellow streaks in it, and an applied surface decorated foot.  ;D
(and a great crack and cracky ding... :-[ )

It wasn't £20 in Abernyte, Gary!  ;D
It had been there for years - along with a matching charger, and it isn't there now. (neither is the charger - but things often shift between Abernyte and Doune - they're owned by the same folk.)
He still wants £95 for that small "jigsawed" multicoloured bowl that was with them.

I'm not really bothered where it came from - it was a bargain and it's mine.
As I said, it displays really well.  8)

Are you not more worried that I am now, officially, a Monart collector? I have 3 bits now... ;)
