Unusual amber signed art glass bowl???

A simple shape yet feels quite stylish to me the glass is amber and is signed to the small flat pad which it sits on underneath im unsure where but id hazzard a guess at scandinavian in its origins. The bowl is 10" L 7.5" W 3.5" T The front is the narrow end the glass is thicker here also thats why i think its nicely made???Any ideas of origins...
