Can anyone help me out with this please, i have been trying for a while to work out the signature on this vase and then maybe find out who made it. It's dated July 1971, has Bose 1 and no 21 also inscribed into the base, a snapped pontil with a few tiny  fracture lines extending out of it, i'm wondering if they were made during manufacture or later damage?. regards Chris.

;) Are you sure it's old enough for you, M?

It's a lovely beast Chris, even if orange and spots are not quite my thing.

;D yes, my tastes are a little diverse.   I don't 'do' 1940- 1967 though.  Although saying that I do have a few of those.

Thanks guys i tend to keep any nice bits of studio glass i find, part of my retirement plan. There were two others with this although they were not signed and looked very ikea ish,  same colours though with rough ground bases, i'll put a pick on tomorrow, they might be by the same artist.
