Topic: Small uranium jug,

Hi all .this little jug glows for some where maybe Bohemia,perhaps i shouldn't have picked it up not because of the small chip on the base,but the crack where the handle joins the body,i like it though and it interested me because of the handle and how it was made.It has four seams on the outside the base is not polished so is it pressed glass with an applied handle?any thoughts on this one many thanks.

Very interesting! I would say it was mid 19th C, i.e., quite early uranium glass and somebody like Percival Vickers or A.N Other Manchester glass house. Is it heavier than you might expect?

It's not light,so fairly generous withthe glass i wold say,the pattern quite deep,i'll try and get a better photo of the surface.

It may be lead glass. A lot of early pressed uranium glass seems to be (it may be true of other colours but they don't float my boat).
