Glass decanter needs identification. ID = Nachtmann
« on: March 30, 2014, 04:53:48 PM »
Can anyone help me identify my glass decanter please? I have had this for a few years as a family hand me down and I am very curious as to what it is or where it's from.  It's a reverse N with a crown above. If anyone has any questions or can help, please get in touch.
Thank you, Mary

Welcome to the board :)
we will need clear pictures, one in profile, one of the rim and one of the base, as well as any further pictures that might help with identification.
Also a description of the piece, the size and the weight are also helpful.
Thanks
m

Hi, unfortunately it won't let me add photos as it says they are too large. Do you have an email address that I could use to send the photos? I have tried to change the resolution of the photos but I can't get down to 125kb which is the max. Help!!?

I would like to see it too. Nachtmann have some great crystal and Decanters are my Weakness 😊. Nachtmann are named as the lifestyle division of Riedel Crystal. Riedel make quality Crystal and their decanters are expensive and some are a very strange shape, google images shows this well enough. 😀
Pete. :-)

Unfortunately Frank and Pete, I can't get the photographs small enough resolution to display them. If you give me your email addresses, I will send it to you. It's beautiful and immaculate condition. It's just not required and a shame that it isn't appreciated.

Ps- sorry for the delay. I have been working.  Thanks
