Bowl - Green and Yellow (undecided )
« on: April 01, 2014, 04:08:12 PM »
 :) Hi there:

Just bought this.  I really can't decide (or figure out) who is the maker?  My three guesses are:  Murano, Czech, or Chalet.  What do you think it is?

I think it is old due to the wear on the bottom.  It is about 9 inches wide, and 3.25 inches tall.....very heavy.   If I had to guess a date I am thinking (maybe) 1960's era , but that is a guess.  Any ideas on the Maker/age??

Thxs as always!  :-*

(( Maybe Murano....as they did this color combo, but bottom edges are chafed ?? ))

I dunno know

Check out JHapanese as well.  Hineri & Kamei are both potential candidates.

Thanks Anne:  :-*

Nope not impatient bunny........LOL........just seems more members on FB discussing Glass than on GMB. Plus I was bumping some New members first posts that had not gotten a Welcome.  So I just thought I would Welcome them.  Want them to feel at home too.

I also LIKE to go back to old posts that have * 0 * replies and bump them up.....But I tend to be to too Good natured ...and want to make them feel at home too.

YES - Pretty Bowl..........will add another to that list as ROSS said.  A few ideas here, so back to the drawing board  :-\

I think these are made by Sanyu Glass Japan. I haven't seen a labelled one yet but they are very common here in Australia. I have quite a few of this colour combo pieces in different shapes (and the piece you have listed above).
