Iittala Ultima Thule "Copycat" Heavy Lead Crystal Glasses
« on: April 26, 2014, 03:27:28 AM »
I recently acquired a set of heavy lead crystal glasses that are definitely inspired by Timo Sarpaneva's iconic Ultima Thule line.  Much heavier than the Iittala version.  I'm wondering who might have made these, and when.  Purchased from a household filled with Swedish things, for what's it worth.

Thanks
Charles

Sorry to be pedantic but Ultima Thule was designed by Tapio Wirkkala. Can you possibly take a photo of the base too as it may help ID :)
