Signed "Pa Art" ID
« on: May 14, 2014, 04:23:09 PM »
Hi All,

Greetings! I am brand new to paperweight collecting, and I hope to learn from everyone already on the boards and tap into your knowledge.

I recently saw a paperweight with the signature "Pa Art 1999" on the bottom. Who is the maker?

Thank you!

The only ID I can come up with is Edward Kachurik when he worked with "Pennslyvania Art" (Pa Art). ???

Anyone?

I'd like to know who signed "Pa Art" as 1) I paid a nominal amt for the weight and I'd be nice to know it's worth at least what I paid and 2) I'd like to understand the history of my weights as I collect them.

Thank you!

Welcome to the board Wolf.  You will get miles further if you supply clear, focussed photos.  One of a general view of the Pwt, another of its base, another from the side and finally a focussed picture of the signature.  I am not criticising you ability to read the signature but sometimes you need someone who knows what thaey are seeing.  Each photo should be resized to 124.99KB or as near as your can get below that size and you can post all four at the one time.
