I have seen one of these with a "murano" label. However, that was being sold in Germany and most others appear there. I did meet someone said he had a positive ID labelled piece, confirming a German factory origin, but didn't say who. I prefer this (partial) explanation, as murano labels do get put on pieces in Italy to be sold to tourists and also by unscrupulous ebay sellers occasionally. So, for once, it seems a label can deceive and I prefer the German explanation now.... hopefully another labelled one will appear soon....

I am almost sure I have seen a similar design on one of the sypka glass catalogs. I know the attribution in those catalogs is not always correct though... I will try to find it and give more details.

Well, not quite.... I checked again, and it is not there. I know I saw this design before, but I guess it was an Ebay listing. So the mystery stays on.
