Hi Steven,

Great looking vase, certainly of the period and Bohemian. Interestingly, I came across a post on the Collectors weekly website a while back regarding these, which I have attached a link to below.

There was a suggestion that these may be by Kralik, referring to a photo in the Passau museum, where they were classed as Kralik. I'm not sure if this was ever proven, so may be best to hang fire until this can be either substantiated or other evidence comes to light. However, thought this would help kick things off.

Hello Greg thank you for the extensive answer :)
part of me thought Kralik due to the textured base. however i know there are tons of smaller Bohemian factories which created similar glass at that time.

Hi

this vase has always mystified me in that it is often attributed to Kralik -sounds sensible - but surprisingly moulded for Kralik. Oddly though the Leopold Museum in Vienna (home to most things Secessionist) has it down as a definite Kolomann Moser design (identical shape - different colourway).  Now theoretically it could be Kolo Moser design and Kralik made - but I've never seen confirmation elsewhere that he designed for Kralik.

cheers

M
