Monart lemonade jug
« on: October 08, 2014, 06:41:45 PM »
My latest piece of Monart is this shape HI colour code 248B and stands 7 inches tall. There is 20 bluey/green stripes top to bottom with all over gold aventurine and bubble inclusions and some clear glass. Also it is uranium glass, the base and the handle shows up best.

Those are quite "spooky" pictures, might be something unusual for the gmb calendar!

An unusual and scarce thing on more than one count. Well done.  :)

Oh - nice find Gary  :P  ;) very jealous, a rarity to find this shape!

Love the uranium glow.

For some reason I keep thinking of it as a creamer about 4" high, even though I KNOW it's bigger!
Now I do want to see pictures of the Vase too (but I don't think either of us are bothered about the pink bowl)  ;D

By the way, love the lampshades - right sort of house for them to be displayed by the looks of it.

Of course you could always reduce it in size add some canes and a bowl to match and voila you have a Cream and Sugar bowl. ;)

That's the size I keep thinking of!

Wow, they are lovely and I would imagine rather rare - and you've got a matching set!  ;D ;D

I'm feeling left out now that I haven't got one yet  :'(  - still now that Gary's got one I might have a chance - I was also bidding on the jug he got !

All three are such lovely things - I'd be hard pressed to choose between them.

I did manage to get a pretty little Y bowl - I'll post  pic later when my batteries have charged.
