very useful thanks Roberta, ...........   to my eyes this effect produced by mica inclusions in the Monart vase is quite different to Gulliver's pieces, for example, which have silver foil only.

Foil often can seem to be in a jig-saw pattern, as it gets stretched by any further blowing after the foil has been added to the surface. It simply breaks up.
