:D :D :D

I think you're more likely to get a response to a direct email, with pictures, from the company than from the forum.
I wanted to try to get the forum going, and to have the information and so on in the public arena, rather than them having to repeat and repeat things, but it doesn't seem to work that way.
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

You may be right Sue, but these things do take time to get established so perhaps a few more of us starting new topics might encourage things along :?

I remember the early days of GMB (and I wasn't one of the first) when topics were very few and far between, but in over two years there's now to date 1,675 members with over 41,000 different articles! 8)

Just been notified that an entirely new forum has started:

I understand all new topics and members will have to be transferred over, but they are accepting new registrations and questions :D

Waiting for my registrasation email...

... I didn't get a registration email on a bottle collectors website that I found. Now you know why I don't have many bottles.

... still waiting...

Hi
Thanks for the mention of the all new forum on the IOWSG site we hope it will become as useful as this one.
Sue, as you mentioned sometimes the response is not as quick as perhaps it should be and sometimes direct mail seems quicker, our new forum has all the boxes ticked to alert us when new members join and new articles are posted so we will try alot harder to respond quicker. Unfortunately the website  and the archive department are not my only job's, I'm also a glassmaker, the IT manager, I run the Collectors' Club and I am also involved in a few of the other departments so my time on each area is fairly limited (Ah!) But if anyone feels that the forum has been neglected please drop me an email to remind me.
We also have other specialists involved with the forum who from time to time drop in and add their comments.
Tigerchips sorry about the wait for the registration email but I have found out this morning that it is not working, I have changed the settings to member approval and each morning (not sundays) I will firstly check the forum and activate any new members. Sorry about that.

Once again many thanks

David

Could well be Gozo glass.  :)

Difficult to tell but it appears that from the picture the base is similar to mine. The decoration is also similar with the dark wavy lines near the bottom and the pink and white mottley bits. There does seem to be a kind of white layer on the ebay vase that isn't on mine though.

It appears that they have a folded over rim on some items.
