A Very Good Chance! You didn't buy that at Malvern on Monday, did you??? Saw two being sold there!

I did, where were you?  then again there were quite a few people around  I had one my brother had the other, came back with 13 new pieces !

Yes was there with PC. Bought about 7 pieces, including a new dining table, but no Chance bits that I wanted! Beautiful day and crowds of people, but we got there when it opened and took advantage of an early start. Crikey was it cold early on!

We got stuck in the queue for nearly half an hour and were a bit late arriving, also picked up a large 'arctic' hanky vase in blue

I also saw a large amber handkerchief vase in hammered texture being sold. Might have been Newark though, from which I returned from on Friday.

But I did find this tray at Newark, which appears to be a very early c.1951 promotional tray. I'm judging this from the diagonally striped border, which can be seen (just) on p.46 Chance Expressions - the promo photo. Whilst this is not clear, the original photo definitely shows an identical border.

Not seen one of those before, there was a large amber hanky vase at Malvern, if I remember right it was marked up at £40 !!!!!

That's the one - a little OTT price-wise when you can buy them off eBay, plus postage, much cheaper.
