Val Saint Lambert stemware dates
« on: September 28, 2015, 06:42:40 PM »
Is there a reliable online resource for putting production/design dates to VSL stemware? I've a handful of different services that don't really tie in with dates popping up on replacements websites, and whilst the VSL blogs I've found have been very useful for service names, they generally skip dates altogether.

Failing that, if anyone has the reproduced catalogues to hand...  ;D

I'm struggling with: Paul (round and hex foot), Mery, Fritz, Serge, Montana, and Crown-uni.

Any pointers gratefully received.

Please post photos, Nic, and I will see what I can find. I don't think I've got them all, but some catalogue reprints are waiting in the Pavillon  :D

Thanks for taking a look, Pamela.

I've not got around to photographing them yet - but here are some quick links:

Crown (which seems to be the same as Daudet, without the decorated bowl. Daudet seems to have been introduced c.1904) -

Found stemware you are looking for in two catalogue reprints:

the purple coloured cover is 1904/1905
the green cover is 1929 & 1930 1938

The following images are named accordingly.

Crown, Fritz and Montana were not included.

Nic, if you send me an email I'll post images of 13 pages table of content of the 1904-1905 catalogue  8)

Below are four photos of Werner and Serge and Werner/Serge - I hope that at least one is the pattern you are looking for  :)

Hello Pamela. Thank you so much for taking the time to search and photograph these. I've sent you an email.

It was Serge (tcpl) I was looking for, after all. The internet seems to be a little sketchy with this series.
