Stennett-Willson Lemington Jar?
« on: October 12, 2015, 03:22:16 PM »
Hi

Am I right in thinking this is a small covered jar designed by Ronald Stennett-Willson for Lemington Glass during his short time there between 1959 and 60.

The jar is about 8 1/2cm tall by 5 1/2cm across.

If it is one of his designs does anyone know the pattern number for this jar or if this design was continued when he moved on to other works.

Thanks for any help.

Stephen

I used to have one, yours is smaller though.

Yeah they do look very similar. I guess they must have made a range of sizes.

LSW31 and 33, made 1960-62, page 228, 20th Century Glass, Andy McConnell.  No idea which size is which though! Largest size apparently 20cm.
