Hi all,
I found this very small decanter recently without a matching stopper. It has no ground neck to receive a stopper. It is 12.5 cm tall and holds 2 gills, 300ml, to the cut line above the round lenses about two thirds above base. It has a 32 point star cut base, that, according to GMB threads, indicates a possible date of 1840-1860. I am wondering if this may be a 19th century whiskey-spirit server, not a decanter?
