Bristol blue , curious mark
« on: November 13, 2015, 08:31:49 PM »
Hi
Curious pieces. " Bristol " blue glass, an attempt at a pair - one is shorter than the other, they are very heavy for their size about 8 inches high, conical feet,  rough pontil, and a makers mark to the neck. Not a good pic I know but not a lot easier to decipher in person - it looks a bit like a Brittania or Hibernia figure facing left. I don't know what to make of it !
All the best
