Paperweight ID help please. ID = China
« on: November 22, 2015, 07:03:06 PM »
My Dad wants to sell some of his paperweight collection to raise some money to buy a mobility scooter for my mum.  He has asked me to "fleabay" them for him but unfortunately I can't ID this one which might help get a reasonable price for it.  Have had a look around and paperweights are a minefield.  Has a couple of insects and frogs within the glass.  Could anyone help me please, many thanks

I'm afraid, the insects, the frog and the base indicate a Chinese origin.

oh poo, was hoping it might be a Murano one although the base dictates it's not very old.  Love my glass but absolutely no good on paperweights.  Many thanks for your help hon.  I have a very special one to ask about now
