Christine,
I've put some images of the Kumela daisy dish I have in my album:
TopBottomThe top is completely smooth - the moulding is underneath.
It is marked / etched, on the underside of one of the petals
"Kaj Blomqvist Kumela" and another word I'm not sure about (begins with "T", fourth letter "l" :? in extremely small writing. It could be "Talous"="home/household" but doesn't seem to fit.
I've also seen this dish with a brown centre.
As I said, maybe a dead end, but certainly these types where done in the Scandic / Nordic Countries.
