I thought some people might like to see this, i can't find it anywhere unless its in a book.

7 inches in total height with the lid and 5 inches in diameter across the waist.

The rim and lid are plated in gold metal not silver.

Regards Chris.

Oooh that is nice, Chris!   8)

RD No 303519 relates to the 1898 Suite, registered 18th August 1897, and described in Davidson Glass, a history (Chris and Val Stewart) as "intersecting lines forming a 10 pointed star with a fan between the points of the star" - there is a photo showing a blue pearline footed sugar in the pattern on page 84 and another piece in this pattern on page 141 of the book, and one on the Stewarts' website here: http://www.cloudglass.com/r18911900.htm where it states "design imitating cut glass" (but no picture of your barrel).
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

Thank you, Chris. Very nice, and quite rare I would imagine.

This is the first time that I have seen a biscuit barrel in this pattern. Most of the shapes in the pattern seem to have been produced in clear, yellow pearline and blue pearline glass, so there may possibly be a blue pearline version of the biscuit barrel out there somewhere.

There are a few photos of RD 303519 on the GMB RD database (mostly of clear glass examples, I think), but I do have photos of quite a few shapes in blue and yellow pearline, so I will try and upload them to the GMB RD database in the next few days.

Fred.
