Firebird, could you make your images bigger please? They need to be around 700 pixels along the longest edge so that we can see the detail clearly. Smaller images distort too much if we try and enlarge them. If you struggle getting them small enough to fit under the file size limit for the board you need to optimise them (sometimes called compress in image software.) We have a help topic how to resize images to fit the board in our help forum here: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,34093.0.html but do shout for help if you get stuck. :)
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

Thanks Anne. They are compressed files in jpeg format from Photoshop. This signature is really difficult to photograph. I can barely make it out using a 7X mag eyeglass.

Firebird I have found that in some cases the signature can be seen far better by taking the photo from a shallow angle.  This takes out of play the underlying pattern and colour and sometimes gives a clearer result.

Here is a vase of mine that illustrates a case where the shallow angle is far better than a front on shot.  I find the best light source is the sky.

It is. Deborah Fladgate. I do recognise her work in this.
Similar pieces can be found on the web.

Thanks Keith. I've just been looking at some of her pieces. Some very imaginative work.
