I need help identify this paperweight. Does any one know from wich glasshouse / artist this paperweight is?

Someone told me this is a Venini from 1958. Is this correct?

I also thought is was China. But the owner says she has bought it in a Venini factory shop in 1958.

There is no signature en no label.

In the attachment is a photo of a Murano object. It has some similarities with the paperweight. Color blue and red, gold foil.

Does this help  to identify the paperweight or am I right that it is indeed China?
