Gorgeous Empoli multi coloured glasses?
« on: June 17, 2017, 05:39:47 PM »
Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone here might be knowledgeable about Empoli glass.  I saw these at auction and just thought they were very pretty Italian glasses in great condition, even though I didnt know the maker I was still expecting to pay a lot for them as they are so nice. Im still quite shocked as to how the bidding panned out for them!  Anyway when I got them home i typed just about every combination of coloured italian stem glasses vintage (etc) into google with no joy.  A few days later I thought as a last ditch attempt to type in the label description and it came up with Empoli.  So now I think I know the factory that made them but thats all I have.  If anyone has any information, maker, age, value etc? I would be super grateful.  As usual I havent been able to resize the images to the boards parameters so I have put them in a public album. Thank you in advance to taking the time to look at them. Any problems with the pictures please let me know. Becky

I don't know anything about Empoli glasses, I do have a collection of very tall stoppered bottles though.
