Thistle triple candlestick signed
« on: March 30, 2018, 09:20:09 AM »
Hello.
Quick second item.
Does anyone recognise the mark on this piece.
The glass is very light and finely made.
I have found Irvine glass but this does not relate to that output.
Measures approx8” to highest stem
Any help gratefully received.

is it lampwork then? or borosilicate (?sp) glass?
I don't know anything about either but just wondered if it might be if it's very light.

Hello Flying.
It feels very lampworky if that’s a word. The thistle globes especially.
I’m unaware of the other glass you mention sorry.
It’s a mystery to me at the mo despite quite an exhaustive search but I will find it in the end.
Thanks for the interest and the input.
