I should have added that the glass colour seems to me to be very similar to Moser glass, and the cutting is interesting - not unlike some of the pieces in Czech Glass Review 1957/11 13-17, although these appear to be mostly multi colours rather than a single one, and this item is more symmetrical, and simpler. The bowl is small - about 10cm long and 7cm high, and the base is cut and polished with a concave centre (but sadly no maker's mark).
I'm intrigued about its provenance, and would be grateful for any other ideas.
