Can anyone id this green & gold bowl - Murano?
« on: April 16, 2019, 06:33:08 PM »
Hi All hope someone will recognise this bowl.  Found in the North West of England it is a pale green heavily ribbed bowl with an embedded spiral of gold that goes from the centre to the rim.  With a smooth flat polished base which has some good age related marks. It measures 15.5 cms in diameter x 5.5 cm deep and weighs a mighty 1.5 kg.  When I found it thought Murano but despite much searching of my books and the web I've not come up yet with anything, so if anyone does recognise it or can set me on the right path it would be much appreciated.  Thanks
