Hi.  Hope someone recognises this small cased green vase I found recently in the north west of England.  Very distinctive raised 'diamond' pattern that covers the entire vase.  It measures approx 13.5 cm tall x 7.5 cm in diameter at the widest part and weighs almost 800 gms.

Flat polished base with some good age related scratches on the base that makes me think mid-century.

If anyone can id it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Pretty sure I've seen something like this described as a pineapple vase.  Will have a proper look later, unless you've nailed it by then.

Hi.  Checked all my books and been searching on the web through pineapple, diamond decoration, cased, sommerso, sweden, scandi, japan, czech, murano and possibly every combination of these you can think of with no success.  Anyone any further ideas?

I was thinking of Jiri Zejmon "pineapple" but, now that I've had a chance to look, I see it wasn't right for yours.
