i had problems uploading them, perhaps it is to do with how they are saved or something, its one reason i do not come on here much as i find the photo's so hard to put up. i will try again. Will take more and put them on

Hi  -  sorry to hear of the problems with uploading pix.          This may depend on how and where they are saved and sourced.
Shouldn't be a difficulty if you are uploading from your own pc file  -  you can edit and re-size etc. then upload remembering to keep the first size at max. 700.
If you are sourcing from an external host then this might bring problems.

If these images are your own and taken by you, they should be o.k.                  If problems remain, you might send one to me and I'll try uploading for you.

See how you get on.

Interesting and attractive piece i don't know
all the proper terms used for Murano glass techniques :(
They were very creative glass blowers.... I think this maybe
Italian glass the bubbly glass has flecks of silver i think
known as mica However the prunt on the front or blob looks
like it may have some detail which i can not make out??
Also has a bit of Eric Hoglund look too it i am just saying
what i can see here no expert lovely tactile studio look to it :)

I can't make out what is in the prunt, but I am a little worried about the shade of green and the bubbles - it reminds me a bit of the sort of glass you see around with not terribly high quality etchings of galleons on.  ???
Cazza, can I assume you meant Copier, rather than Covier?  :)
I can see why somebody suggested Hoglund too - but he's not an area I know well enough to be able to distinguish accurately.  :-[

The prunt has a castle with two turrets, its not what you think its rough to touch there is no silver in it, they are white bits the only place it is soft is the polished base and where the marks are its rough again.  I saw a Covier prunt on another item a vase and although i could not see the detail of the prunt it looked very similar so did the texture of the glass.
