Mystery "D"? mark on modern-form glass vase...

I've had no luck identifying this mark, though the research parameters are limited (vase, heavy, clear/colourless, modern...). There is quite a bit of foot-wear which leads me to think that it is not very new, but it is heavy, so maybe that encourages accumulation of such wear. If anyone recognizes it I would be beyond grateful.
