Cased blue glass pot with orange interior and brown handles
« on: February 20, 2020, 07:36:35 AM »
This is an odd little vase/jug. It is 6" high and 7" in diameter. No signature, not marked, no label. I have not been able to find anything else quite like it. The exterior has been left rough, but the interior is quite smoothly finished. Odd color combination and kind of awkward dimensions, but a very intentional design. Does this ring a bell with anyone. Maybe at least a national origin or design style? Thanks!

Could well be from Lafiore, they are based in Mallorca, Spain.

I see the similarity to their Scavo glass. My jug is maybe a bit more finished than some the Lafiore stuff I looked at...

;) Hand-made stuff does vary. I feel Lafiore is the right way to be going too. :)

Thanks Sue. I sent some images to Lafiore. Maybe they will respond. If they do, I will update this post.
