It's not too big a job for your fingerpads to cope with. ;D
I don't recommend this trick for your great grannie's tea service.

  Hi,
I thought this label might be of some interest— found in the UK —of course they could be quite common in the
  US  :)
I understand the Central Glass Works had the Chippendale moulds between 1920-1930 —give or take a
  few years.
In 1930 they ( the moulds ! ) were shipped to England—where Davidson Glass of Gateshead continued to produce
Chippendale glass, using the original moulds.

   Scott

There's a bit of history of Krys-tol here http://krys-tolkabinet.com/ and a bit more background here https://chataboutdg.com/gallery/details.php?image_id=4516&mode=search a page of examples of other pieces in the range here https://www.eapgs.org/patterns/pattern-details.php?idx=1456 and more on the V&A website here about the purchase of the moulds by a British glassmaker here http://collections.vam.ac.uk/item/O332111/chippendale-tumbler-george-davidson-co/chippendale-tumbler-george-davidson/.  As well as those links I highly recommend reading Glen and Stephen Thistlewood's page on Krys-Tol here https://www.carnivalglassworldwide.com/krys-tol-glass.html.

I collect Chippendale glass but haven't seen a silver patterned piece before, although I have seen engraved pieces. Then today I spotted another silvered piece on eBay (just like buses, none come for ages then two come along together!) https://www.ebay.com/itm/233774547966.

Datewise, Krys-Tol from 1905 in the USA. Certainly Davidson in the UK were making Chippendale pieces into the 1960s. http://www.cloudglass.com/Gallerypostwar.htm
