Hello everyone, this piece has a polished pontil and the brown spots are speckled with gold flecks. Any info would be much appreciated. Thank you

I'm probably wrong but I was searching for a Japanese Sasaki piece online and this reminded me of yours.

Hi NevB :) Those ones are similar! Thank you for your reply, I hadn't heard of Sasaki and after doing a bit of research I'm glad I now have! Lots of interesting pieces, and some I'd seen before but didn't know who they were by.
