1920s/30s vase with painted chrysanthemums
« on: April 08, 2022, 05:00:22 PM »
Though I usually don't buy painted glass, I couldn't resist this one.
Almost the whole surface is painted with a motive of chrysanthemums and leaves (reminds me somehow of a vintage fabric).
Height appr. 23 cm, blue glass cased in clear, then satinated and painted.

The base has "32" written with a pencil, which of course may not mean much.

I couldn't find anything similar online, so any help appreciated :)
"Bohemian" is, as usual, my first thought...

Michael
