Anyone know anything about "Margie's Garden"?
« on: August 07, 2022, 08:02:27 PM »
Hi all.

I bought a blue and clear vase today, with a "donut hole" through the centre, which I believe is from "Margie's Garden", a brand owned by Joelson Industries, Inc.

However, I can find very little info about them... are they actually a glass making business, or just a "label", or what? If not, any idea who is actually making their glass items?

Any info would be most appreciated.

TIA

Steve

Looks like a matte-ground pontil mark to me, which says Chinese.

There are lots of pieces online if you search "Margie's Garden glass". Some have labels with "Handblown by Creative Artisans of Margie's Garden Westlake California". It could still be they were made elsewhere.

On the website for brand owner Joelson Industries that Steve mentions, it says:

“Margie’s Garden products incorporate trending colors, finishes and shapes in a wide variety of materials including mouth-blown glass, ceramics, tin, wood, concrete, poly-stone and more…..”

So “Margie’s Garden” brand isn’t just glass, sounds more like a label.
