Much of the more recent Chinese glass is stunning. That's the joy of glass. A good piece is a good piece, it is always it's own original you are holding and it doesn't matter where it was made or who made it. It is its full self.
But I do think this piece is far more complex than most Chinese output and required a very high level of skills to produce.
The techniques used and the skills required to have made this are in the realms of Mike Hunter's considerable and outstanding talents.
However in the last few years, more and more younger artists are emerging and I don't know nearly enough about them yet.
