Antique glass goblet (?) for identification
« on: May 17, 2015, 04:20:55 PM »
 Hello all

I have 2 pieces of antique cut glass that I would like help regarding what they were used for and an approximate age. [Mod: see below for link to second piece]

The first is some kind of cut glass goblet shaped item , flint glass , quite heavy with a polished pontil , quite large approx 7 inch tall

Georgian???

Thanks in advance

Hi Briana,

I have split out your second piece from this thread, because ID comments can become confusing if the pieces are by different makers or have differing details.

Also, it would be much easier for people to consider the ID if the photos were taken against a plain background (perhaps a dark background to show the details).

[See here for second thread]
