Hello everybody, thanks for your appreciation!. Thanks also Frank, for the website - Sorry about the spelling mistake, I wasn't wearing my glasses and the print is small and thin. I'm not quite used to having to wear specs yet - it's a relatively new age-thing (as opposed to a new-age thing  ) the people in the shop where I got these said they don't have a website, I suppose that's them, themselves. They're importers of Lithuanian art, including glass, amber jewellery, ceramics and the most amazing Jacquard rugs, made on the last remaining Jacquard looms in the world, so they tell me, the one on which the rugs were made for the politbureau in the USSR (we've bought 3!). Yes, the glass is unmarked, and I keep telling them to do something about it. They've got stickers for the Baltic Impressions shop, and you get a certificate with each piece (with tiny, thin print on it).
PS I've just looked at the website, and the prices, and I'm starting to wonder if the pieces I've been buying might be seconds, which may be why they're mot signed, or perhaps they're by apprentices?? I'm going to Edinburgh tomorrow to see my Dad, so I'll maybe get a chance to ask. How well I do will depend on who is in the shop, the young guys there do not have great English (but far better than my Lithuanian). The boss guy is a retired Scottish bank manager, but I've only met him once.
The delicious piece was one I was going to save for later, but you've twisted my arm. It's the piece by the unknown German girl working in Oban. Here are a couple of pics. They've come out quite well, the red bits contain aventurine, the name of the piece is "Golden Rain". It is incredibly light and thin glass. I will be writing to Dennis Evans to see if he knows anything about the artist.
