They have a lovely ring to them, and the enamelling is Stuart quality. No signature, though. Does anyone recognise the shape?

TIA
Heidi

Hi

I'm pretty certain they are not stuart.

The enamelling looks wrong and the blanks are unlike any Stuart piece I've seen.

Also they did a polka dot set that's its quite diifferent -I don't think they'd have done two

regards

Mike

Thanks, Mike. Ah well...  :(

Any other suggestions? I've got a bit of a thing about enamelware and this set definitely has a classier feel than most.

I wonder if yours is from the same (mystery) stable as mine, Heidi?  It has a black base and is the grapefruit dish shape with polka dots and a gilt rim: http://yobunny.org.uk/gallery1/displayimage.php?pos=-572
