Hi All (Nic in particular)

Today i bought this vase which i thought would be Holmegaard Carnaby but not being as good as some i stand to be corrected. It measures a huge 18" & the apple is for size purposes Any info appreciated as usual also what should i have paid for it?
Cheers
Ian

Hello.

It's not Holmegaard, I'm afraid. It could be from Poland, China, maybe Sweden.... not sure. Someone else here can probably help a little more.

As a quick reference, Carnaby range was only ever made in white, yellow, blue and red/orange (a colour called 'Coral' by Holmegaard). That's not to say that all cased glass in these colours is Holmegaard either! :D

These two pages cover most of the standard Carnaby shapes:

Thanks for the vote of confidence - but I'm not anyone special on these boards, and other members would have known the answer too!  :)
